WHEELCHAIR ATHLETES WILL BENEFIT FROM AN EARLY START FROM 7H57

All the wheelchair athletes will start few minutes before the other competitors from Promenade des Anglais in Nice by first using a PRM corridor to access the safety area before the start. and will run on the same seaside route to finish in Cannes on beautiful Croisette few meters before Palais des Festivals.

The race is opened to wheelchair athletes, according to “Federation Française handisport� rules. In agreement with those rules, “hand bikes�, or “hand cycling, will not be allowed on the race. The wheelchair start will be done at 7.57 am. All runners taking part in the race in the disabled category must comply with the safety rules in force, as issued by the authorities, for example: wearing a helmet, etc.

There will be a specific classification of the wheelchair race.

Joëlette start

The event allows the participation of "joëlette" with their pushers to a limit of 5 joëlettes on the whole event. For safety reasons, competitors in joëlettes must start behind the race pack, using the joëlette corridor to access the safety area before the start.

Every team who wants to subscribe their joëlette has to contact registrations service (verosportup@gmail.com) before proceeding with their registration.
